What is the procedure to post a job? Will my ads be advertised in-print?
To post jobs on our website "ScienceJobs.org", you will need to create an account. Once you have an account with us, you can login to your account and use our Job Posting Control Panel to post and modify your job ads at any time. We offer online job advertising service only. Your ads will be advertised on our job websites. The in-print advertising service is currently not available.
What kind of jobs can be advertised on ScienceJobs.Org website?
You are welcome to advertise any positions that are related to science such as jobs in chemistry, physics, biology, biotechnology, medical and health sciences, science sales, etc.
Should I create a regular account or subscriber's account?
Depending on your recruiting needs, if you are currently advertising one or two positions, you may sign up for our Regular Account. However, for hiring managers and HR departments who are responsible for advertising jobs for the entire organization, it will be a great savings to sign up for the Subscribers' Account. With annual subscription, you can post unlimited job ads for one full year that starts from the date your account is activated.
How do I modify my job postings?
You can modify your job postings after you posted your ad. Changes will take effect immediately. Login to your account and modify your job postings through Job Manager under our Job Posting Control Panel.
Will the job seekers' applications be sent to us directly or through your system?
Job Seekers can send their job applications to employers directly either by email or mail, or through our online application system. Make sure your contact information is complete.
Is there a fee to cross-post jobs on multiple job sites?
To maximize your candidate pool, you can advertise your job ad, where it applies, on our Science Jobs network including UniversityJobs.com, PostdocJobs.com and ScienceJobs.Org. When you post a new job ad on ScienceJobs.Org website, you will see an option to select a job category in the other two job sites. Your job ads will also appear on the Journal of American Science website. If the position is a postdoctoral position, you can select a job category under the category "Postdoc Jobs." If the position is an academic position, you can select a job category under the category "University Jobs." We currently do not charge an additional fee for this value-added service if you post jobs through one website. However, a fee may be charged if you post it on all three job sites seperately.
When you post your job ads on one of our job sites, your ads will be searchable on all our job sites.
Can you post jobs for us?
Posting a job ad on our website is extremely easy. You can login to your account
and post your ads at any time. Just copy and paste the Job Title and Job
Description, select a job category and click the Submit button. If you need
assistance, you can email us your new jobs or point us to where your ads are
posted. Our staff may post them for you.
Can we search resume database?
Yes. With an additional fee, you can search resumes/CV in our resume database. You can order it while you are posting the ad or order it separately.
I subscribed a job package. Can I carry unused balance for next year?
Job packages offer a service with a flat fee that allows customers to post certain number of ads within a certain period of time. The job package expires when the maximum number of job ads is reached or the subscription period ends, whichever comes first. Any unused account balance can not be carried over to the next subscription period.
We are an advertising agency, do you offer any discount or commissions?
Yes. We offer a discount or commission for advertising agencies. Please sign up an account and let us know that you are an advertising agency. We will apply the discount to your account, which applies to all our services.
