Job Summary:
The Analyst at SNBL is responsible for the development of analytical methods used to support the analysis of formulation used for non-clinical GLP and non-GLP studies. You will be responsible for the analyize of samples generated during the performance of non-clinical studies using previously validated methods. Includes overseeing the maintenance, operation and troubleshooting of spectrophotometer and HPLC instrumentation. Responsible for the generation of analytical reports and tables.

Serves as Contributing Scientist or Responsible Scientist on studies, as assigned.
Validates quantitative analytical methods used for analysis of test article formulations primarily using HPLC or UV-VIS methods under the direction of the Analytical Chemist
Perform analysis on study samples
Responsible for data QC as appropriate.
Preparation and Revision of SOP's for using on analytical procedures.
Ensure analytical standards or reference materials are handled and stored in an acceptable manner.
Attend protocol review meetings as appropriate.
Ensure appropriate repairs to equipment are completed in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned.

BS in a scientific discipline preferably chemistry, analytical chemistry or pharmaceutical science.
1-3 years experience conducting method validations and analysis using HPLC and UV-Vis instrumentation.
Minimum 3 years experience with HPLC/UPLC systems (Waters HPLC/UPLC systems preferred)
Experience conducting analysis in a GLP/GMP regulated environment a plus.
Proficient with analytical instrumentation software (For example Empower, Analyst, Chemsoft or Chemstation) and basic computer skills including Microsoft excel, word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
Ability to instruct others on day to day activities.
Extensive knowledge of basic math skills.
Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a fast paced environment.
Demonstrated attention to detail.
Positive attitude toward work and co-workers
Solid reasoning ability.
