ROLE SUMMARY

Strong credential services are vital to the security and operational resilience of Pfizer and critical to zero trust enablement. The Manager, Cybersecurity PKI Engineer, reports into the Zero Trust Enablement Lead. This a hands-on infrastructure, application and service support role and the candidate will work directly on the service technologies including Public Key Infrastructure, software applications and related technologies. This role will work with the Cybersecurity PKI Engineering Lead on enhancements, continuous improvements, and…. The responsibilities include requirements gathering and definition, technical design and specification, development, testing, implementation support and break / fix of the technical services.
The role reports to the Senior Manager of Zero Trust Enablement and will be a member of a globally distributed team. This role requires subject matter expertise across the broad domain of zero trust enablement with hands-on expertise in delivering PKI, certificate management, at massive scale, across cloud, on-premise and SaaS environments.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will have the following primary responsibilities, but will often act under the support and direction of the Senior Manager, Zero Trust Enablement Lead:
- Manage Public Key Infrastructure related services including MSCA multi node PKI and numerous certificate related services.
- Develop and deploy solutions to ensure that Digital Credential Services are performing according to specifications, meet defined procedures, and comply with applicable information security policies and requirements.
- Operate independently in ambiguous situations within sub unit/sub operations groups to deliver it’s objectives.
- Integrate applications and third-party products into internal services and support and upgrade implemented systems.
- Anticipate potential objections and influence others to enable positive outcomes for the Corporation.
- Partner with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve Pfizer processes and end user experiences.
- Develop and maintain service patterns used for application integration.
- Develop automations to eliminate manual repetitive tasks and allow time for more meaningful work.
- Support 24x7 oversight of Business As Usual (BAU) operations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree with five years of relevant experience with infrastructure support and management in an enterprise environment, ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- OR Master’s degree with three years of relevant experience;
- OR Associate's degree with eight years of relevant experience;
- OR Ph.D. with 0+ years of experience;
- OR 10 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Deep technical understanding in the following areas: Public Key Infrastructure (Certificate Authority, Registration Authority, Remote Key Management, Hardware Security Modules and Security Worlds), Digital Signatures (Internally and Externally provisioned certificates), Multi-factor Authentication Services, Security design implementation and administration and network security.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and execute with minimal direction or oversight.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Demonstrate commitment to training, self-study and maintaining proficiency in the technical cyber security domain.
- Demonstrate effective oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills as well as organizational and planning abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in an agile work environment possessing qualities such as a collaborative mindset, adaptability to change, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- This is a desk job with extensive computer use.
