Summary
During the elective 4th year, fellows are appointed to the faculty as an instructor and will further enrich their clinical and research education, augment their teaching skills, and receive invaluable training in a junior faculty role. Another key feature of the elective 4th year is that it offers an additional year of "protected" research time which serves to enhance research productivity.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Required: M.D. and completion of 3-year accredited Pedi-Hem/Onc fellowship
