Job Description

Summary

Dr. Sang Han's laboratory is looking to recruit a Postdoctoral Associate.  We are a dedicated in scientific research developing new cell therapy with genetically modified immune cells to eradicate various cancer progressions with syngeneic cancer mouse models without any side effects, such as cytokine storm. The Post-Doc will primarily involve developing the genetically modified regulatory T cells and then determining whether modified T cells eradicate breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, and brain tumors developed in their syngeneic immune-intact mouse models. Afterward, the Post-Doc will define how genetically modified regulator T cells change the tumor immune microenvironment to eradicate tumors using Cytometry by Time of Flight (CyTOF). Therefore, treatment with genetically modified regulator T cells represents a novel approach to completely block tumor growth and recurrence without the autoimmune side-effects that typically accompany immune checkpoint modulators.
