Position Summary
The role calls for a leader who is both highly strategic and capable of strong execution, you will introduce new and/or improved methodologies for attracting, assessing, and selecting the best talent. A thorough understanding of candidate sourcing strategies, recruitment channels and market conditions.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Direct creation of talent management and workforce planning programs and processes for City of Hope. This will include developing and managing affirmative action.
- Direct talent management and recruitment program
- The role partners closely with organization leaders to understand their strategy and talent needs
- Leverage deep recruiting knowledge to develop plans to attract top talent with required skillsets
- Serve as a player/coach partnering with senior leaders for full-cycle recruiting efforts for critical senior roles, including identifying capability and knowledge requirements, sourcing a diverse slate of candidates, establishing valid candidate assessment processes and facilitating the offer process
- Partner with HR to develop and drive employment initiatives and branding strategy
- Partner with D&I and leverage Diversity and Inclusion programs for talent
- Manage and inspire a talent acquisition team to deliver outstanding results while effectively communicating the critical dimensions of the staffing strategy, updating the staffing status and ensuring tight alignment with the hiring managers and business unit plans.
- Lead the recruiting team to implement creative solutions to improve hiring processes and hire key talent quickly and efficiently and lead initiatives to provide a best-in-class candidate experience.
- Identify, develop, and prioritize recruitment from emerging talent markets nationally.
- Maintain integrity and upkeep of recruiting systems and processes while supporting new tools and efficiency opportunities
- Responsible for the data integrity of ATS and establish key performance metrics for TA function, track and report to monitor and improve performance
- Maintain compliance with audit, regulatory and legal requirements
- Build high trust relationships with internal and external clients

- Direct workforce planning activities
- Partner with Compensation on retention processes for critical and high risk positions. Partner with Workforce Analytics and Finance on the workforce planning. Along with key initiative projects.
Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of recruiting experience with demonstrated expertise in full cycle recruiting.
- 5+ years team management, leadership and development experience
- 3+ years of experience in technology and /or creative recruiting.
- Strong understanding of job market and hiring trends, early indicators of change, and strategies to adapt quickly to a changing hiring environment
