• Participates in planning, developing and implementing in-house and off-site sports performance programs that are profitable.
• Coaches all levels of athletes: youth, developmental 1, developmental 2, and adult.
• Ensures profitable program by providing world-class services.
• Notifies supervisor of necessary inventory stocking or malfunctioning equipment.
• Builds relationships with local schools, universities, clubs, professional teams, coaches, elite athletes and agents.
• Follows system and department policies and procedures with special attention to attendance and punctuality, confidentiality, dress code and display of ID badge, and safety.
• Completes mandatory education and training in order to maintain organization and department specific competencies and requirements.
• Maintains applicable cer tification/licensure. Maintains current Basic Life Support (BLS) and first aid.
• Other duties as assigned

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in exercise physiology kinesiology or related field.

Certifications:

• Maintains current Basic Life Support (BLS) and first aid. Maintains 1 of 2 certifications: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or Sports Performance Coach/USA Weightlifting Level 1 certification through USA Weightlifting.

• Candidates in the final semester prior to graduation with a minimum of 250 hours of practical work [internship at private college or professional teamwill be considered.
