Job Description
Associate Professor/Faculty Position in Immuno-oncology/Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Florida Research and Innovation Center, Port St Lucie, FLThe Cleveland Clinic Florida Research and Innovation Center (CC-FRIC), Port St. Lucie, Florida, invites applications for one full-time position at the Associate Faculty level. The Position will be within the broad fields of immuno-oncology or molecular oncology.
CC-FRIC is dedicated to the discovery and advancement of innovative basic and translational research focused on infectious disease, immunobiology, and immuno-oncology/oncology. The Center has three floors with approximately 100,000 sq. ft. of dedicated research and support spaces including Shared Resource Facilities in Flow Cytometry, Imaging, Bioinformatics, and a Vivarium. This position offers co-appointment in Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Immunotherapy & Immuno-oncology (CITI) led by Timothy Chan, MD, PhD. Faculty at the CC-FRIC also closely collaborate with scientists at the Lerner Research Institute (LRI), a network of ~190 labs at Cleveland Clinic’s main campus in Ohio, and further, with physicians at the regional hospitals of Cleveland Clinic Florida.
Key requirements
Ideal applicants will be established faculty candidates at the assistant or associate professor level with at least 5 years of independent research experience and an outstanding record in immuno-oncology or molecular oncology. The selected candidates will possess scientific vision, leadership skills and be competitive in acquiring extramural grants. Basic requirements for the position are a Ph.D. or M.D.-PhD., as well as postdoctoral research experience and a strong record of research accomplishments and publications in the field of immuno-oncology/oncology.
