Full Time Salary range: $112,853 - $173,417 / year

Von Voigtlander Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) Clinic-Maternal Fetal Medicine

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Von Voigtlander OBGYN Clinic is the anchor site for the Maternal Fetal Medicine service at Michigan Medicine. Our multidisciplinary team provides consultation for the most complex maternal and fetal care. Our team provides guidance and comfort to women who are in a high-risk pregnancy situation from pre-conception to post-partum. The clinic team includes physicians, advanced practice providers, midwives, nurses, medical assistants, social workers, as well as a multifunctional administrative/clerical team.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the credentialing and privileging process.

Required Qualifications*

Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner specialty certification in the State of Michigan.
Current specialty certification to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner recognized by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Current DEA registration required
AHA approved BLS certification
Minimum of 5 years of recent experience (within the last 10 years) working as an RN caring for high risk obstetric patients in an OB triage setting
AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
ANCC Fetal Monitoring certification
Applicant must have gynecologic and cervical exam skills

Demonstrated ability to complete history and physical examinations; order appropriate diagnostic studies; synthesize information and make informed clinical decisions; develop appropriate care plans; and be responsive to patient and family preferences
Ability to function independently and as a team member
Demonstrated communication and customer service excellence with patients, family, staff and physicians
Must demonstrate a high level of critical thinking and medical knowledge by using current medical information and scientific evidence-based practice for patient care
Demonstrated ability to prioritize assignments and manage a busy work environment
Demonstrated ability to collaborate clinical care ideas across multiple patient care services and to communicate assertively as a patient advocate
Demonstrated ability to carrying out professional responsibilities, adherence to ethical principles and sensitivity to diversity
Computer skills including, but not limited to electronic medical record documentation and electronic order entry, EPIC/MiChart preferred.
Experience conducting video/virtual care visits
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated clinical leadership and experience with coordinating and managing complex and multifaceted projects
