Duties and Responsibilities
The faculty will be responsible for curriculum instruction and will be an integral part of the student’s educational experience. The faculty member will provide engaged instruction, develop curricula, advise and support students, be responsible for evaluation of student learning, and provide evaluation methods appropriate to outcomes. The faculty member will teach eight (8) courses for the academic year; advise psychology majors and serve on departmental, college, and university committees. A commitment to teaching excellence, experience integrating technology into the teaching process and/or teaching in a variety of modes (hybrid and on-line courses). This is a full-time, nine-month tenure track position.
Conditions of Employment
Offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of due diligence background check and verification of credentials. Proof of US citizenship or eligibility for U.S. employment will be required prior to employment (Immigration Control Act of 1986).

Experience
Teaching and research experience, especially at the undergraduate level; demonstrated proficiency integrating technology into teaching. There should be a record of and a commitment to research, scholarship activities and a strong teaching ability. Experience in grant writing and conducting research with undergraduate students is preferred. Experience in Research.
Education
A Doctoral degree in Psychology is required.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
The successful candidate should be able to teach Statistics, Research Methodology and have Cognitive Psychology as an area of expertise. A commitment to teaching excellence, experience integrating technology into the teaching process and/or teaching in a variety of modes (hybrid and on-line courses) is necessary. This person should have knowledge in the general discipline of Psychology including an area of specialization. Candidate must have excellent communication skills; and the ability to work with students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
