Job DescriptionHendrix College invites applications for a two-year term position for an Assistant Professor of Biology and Health Sciences to begin in August 2021. The College seeks to extend its tradition of excellence in teaching and scholarship by attracting faculty who combine mastery of their disciplines with broad intellectual interests and commitment to the aims of a liberal arts college. The successful candidate will be broadly trained in Biology and be able to teach human anatomy and physiology courses related to our Health Sciences major and support introductory courses related to a variety of biological science disciplines. (https://www.hendrix.edu/biology/). Teaching load is six course equivalents per year (one course equivalent comprises one lecture or two lab sections). Doctorate is preferred; ABD will be considered.
