Job Description

Position Highlights:

  • Serves as the communication link between the Radiologists and the patient.
  • Will work closely with the breast imaging quality control tech/navigator, and the breast imaging supervisor to ensure that the screening patients move through our department and their appointments efficiently.
  • Will be responsible for the MagView risk assessment program and assist the patients in completing the questions.
  • Will ensure patients are followed up with and scheduled for their follow examinations as needed.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Will have an Associate degree in Healthcare Administration or similar field.
  • Is dedicated to superior customer service and satisfaction.


  • Follows up with mammography screening patients via telephone.
  • Schedules follow up exams as necessary to accommodate patient's schedule.
  • Assists patients with retrieval of prior imaging. Will facilitate risk assessment modules for screening patients.
  • Will cover QC Tech/Navigator during his/her absence by speaking with biopsy patients.

Credentials and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, either hospital or outpatient based is required.
  • Current BLS required.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills required.
  • Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook email are required.
