Job Description

A Postdoctoral Fellow/Associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Lori (Chia-Hsin) Chan in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. The appointment will start in June 2022 or later until the job vacancy is filled. We are seeking for self-motivated, collaborative individuals to join our group. The primary research will focus on studying the molecular basis that underlines tumor metabolism, metastasis, and immune responses. The candidate will have opportunities to participate the development of new therapeutic interventions used for cancer treatment. We will provide the new member the multidisciplinary training in molecular biology, cellular biology and various mouse model systems including xenograft, syngeneic and transgenic mice. Our previous and current postdoctoral fellows and pre-doc students have had published in high impact journals and/or have been recognized by various national accolades including fellowship awards and/or travel awards. We sincerely welcome young individuals who are enthusiastic in translating creative research ideas from bench to animals and ultimately to bedside.
