Job DescriptionJob Summary:
The position involves multidisciplinary research IR design, photo-response and noise measurements, system integration, photonic management with IR meta-surfaces.
Independent research in cognitive and autonomous multi-modal IR sensing technologies including design and fabrication of electronics/optoelectronic components, device packaging, and software/hardware interfaces and optimization of sensing devices and operating regimes
Assistance to PI in project management
Preparation of journal publications, proceedings, and presentations at academic conferences and other meetings
No prior experience.
Relevant work experience after undergraduate degree
IR sensing technologies
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
IR, Optical and Microwave diagnostic equipment and familiarity with Clean room equipment
