Job Description

Summary

Dr. Eric Storch and Dr. Laurel Williams are looking for a Clinical Research Associate that will be able to support the daily operations of the Child Psychiatry Access Network that is participating in the federal program Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium. This position will support the daily operations by enrolling patients, and collecting research data that will be used for the planning, development, and implementation of CPAN. 

Job Duties

  • Supports daily operations for Child Psychiatry Access Network by creating daily schedules, tracking and evaluating CPAN data, updating Facebook page, arranging meetings for providers, and maintaining data information on Box. 
  • Recruits, screens, and enrolls study participants; ensures participant adherence to study protocol.
  • Collects, evaluates, enters, and tracks data defined by the state that can include:
    • Percentages of PCP's enrolled at each region.
    • Patient and provider satisfaction.
    • Percentage of phone calls answered.
    • Percentages of PCP's and consultative requests responded within time frame.
    • Comfort scores, number of phone consultations provided and documentation of outcomes.
    • Percentages of referrals.
    • Number of pediatric practices enrolled and the outcomes from the calls. 
  • Collects and evaluates the number of calls that are clinical care for assessment, diagnosis, and management. 
  • Submits data and reports to State Administrator for tracking measures. 
  • Assists with completion of protocol-specific documents for enrollment processes, and process procedures. 
  • Establishes and prepares study files, and process maps that will be given to state administrator for the development and protocols of CPAN.
  • Collects samples from participants.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
  • One year of relevant experience.
