Posting Summary
Provide high-level technical and operational support to a laboratory studying the molecular basis underlying autoimmune disease using mouse models. Develop and maintain complex experimental protocols, safety and animal protocols, train new staff and students. Analyze and interpret data, write manuscripts, design experiments. Develop and perform complex molecular biology and immunology assays.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry or related field and four to five years’ related experience required. Experience in staff/student supervision and/or laboratory oversight required. Molecular biology and/or immunology skills required. Effective scientific writing and organizational skills. Proficient with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with laboratory animals, surgeries, and behavioral testing.
