About This Role:

This position will assist in providing timely, accurate laboratory results by following Lafene laboratory procedures, and applicable state and federal requirements. To update, maintain, and problem solve laboratory information systems (LIS). Including interfaces for instruments, reference laboratories, faxing programs, and Lafene Health Center EMR.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires an associate degree and Medical Laboratory Technician certification or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree from an accredited college/university in chemical, laboratory and biological sciences.
Basic computer knowledge to include simple hardware setup, program interface requirements, database creation and maintenance, and problem solving.
Other Requirements:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
