Position Overview
The Data Management Coordinator is responsible for the collection, maintenance and reporting of data for the Office of Undergraduate Admission.

Primary Purpose
Responsible for the collection, maintenance and reporting of data for the Admissions Office.
Essential Duties
Develop and implement effective tools and procedures to collect, input, verify, and report data for purposes of undergraduate admissions.
Coordinate and input prospect, inquiry, and application data into the CRM and data management system, maintaining a focus on data integrity, regular data review, and data accuracy at all times.
Prepare statistical admissions reports and data analysis.
Work collaboratively with Director of Outreach and Recruitment to effectively ensure timely execution of outreach, including but not limited to print mailings to multiple student and influencer audiences.
Utilize the CRM to support all data functions, and assist with the maintenance and integrations with PeopleSoft, the CommonApp, and other technology applications.
Coordinate with MIS on system maintenance and updates, as well as building and maintaining relevant queries and reports.
Assist with the operational and data aspects of the undergraduate admission process, including but not limited to: prospect maintenance, application management, documentation collection, data importing and exporting, decision processing, travel planning, and communication campaigns.
Develop a working knowledge and remain current on all College recruitment messages, facts, and policies.
Collaborate with other administrative offices, academic departments, committees and College personnel to effectively support student recruitment and enrollment.
Represent the College and assist with data collection and analysis at all recruitment events assigned.
Be an active and positive member of the admissions team, demonstrating a willingness to participate and volunteer in team initiatives.
Occasional Duties
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Outreach and Recruitment.
May include non-standard hours, evenings and weekends.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Familiarity with reporting tools such as Excel.
Working knowledge of PC software for data management.
Demonstrated initiative and the ability to grasp new processes and learn new systems or software.
Must be able to keep sensitive data confidential and adhere to all data security standards.
Must have demonstrated public relations skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required and candidates must demonstrate acute attention to detail, strong organization and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to collaborate with others.

Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, Management, or related area.
Experience:
Experience with data systems, such as PeopleSoft, and software reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of two years’ working with data analysis.
Knowledge of Salesforce CRM, Image Now (document imaging software), and MS Professional software packages are beneficial.
