Job Description Summary
Wentworth Institute of Technology’s School of Computing & Data Science invites applications for open-rank full-time faculty positions in Computer Science beginning August 31, 2023.

This individual will be responsible for:
Teaching undergraduate and master’s level computing courses – The typical teaching load is three 4-credit courses in each of the Fall and Spring semesters, with opportunities for summer teaching.
Engaging in research and scholarly activity
Performing service to the university and the profession, which includes academic advising, student engagement, and serving on committees.

Founded in 1904, Wentworth Institute of Technology is an independent, co-educational, nationally ranked university offering career-focused education through 24 bachelor’s and 13 master’s degree programs in areas including Computer Science, Computer Networking, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Architecture, Design, and Construction Management. Wentworth’s mission is to prepare our students for career success through experiential learning. Recent new programs include Cybersecurity and Computer Science + Society, launched in 2019 and 2021 respectively.
The School of Computing & Data Science consists of 30+ full-time faculty that offer undergraduate majors in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Networking, Information Technology, and Applied Mathematics and graduate degrees in Applied Computer Science, Data Science, and Business Analytics. The school has teaching and research strengths in artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, high-performance computing, stochastic processes, dynamical systems, financial math and modeling. In addition, members of the school have close collaborative relationships with faculty in sciences, humanities, and electrical and computer engineering, among others.

Required Education: M.S. in Computer Science or a related discipline.
