Due to the constant development of Selvita and the Sales department, currently, we are seeking a talented specialist for the newly created position of Internal Sales Representative who will be responsible for supporting Europe/ AsiaDrug Discovery Business Development team for Selvita. Additionally, the main daily duties will belong to assisting with increasing market awareness, generating leads, and increasing Selvita’s customer base, as well as, providing internal support as an extension of the EU/ Asia Business Development Team.
The individual will assist to drive a strategy to identify and engage with accounts that are either potential new business opportunities or require ongoing nurturing. Initiates a multi-channel strategy, and manages the quality and alignment of lead generation, ensuring all sales leads are qualified and verified prior to handover to Business Development.

Key Responsibilities:
• Nurturing leads generated through the website, marketing campaigns, and tradeshows; this may include following up on document downloads, evaluating lead sheets and contact lists provided by third parties (through conferences).
• Passing along qualified leads to BD and expediting the process by starting the CDA process, etc.
• Conducting market analysis as needed on certain business segments or capabilities to identify and assess competition, understand customer behavior/interests and market trends, determine demographics, etc.
• If needed, engage in preliminary high-level technical discussions with potential clients to aid in vetting leads and opportunities.
• Participates in business development processes and meetings to ensure consistency and alignment.
• Promote the company and brand when interacting with prospective customers.
• Close collaboration with other teams such as Marketing and Support.
Your Background
• MSc / BSc in Life Sciences as a must.
• Written and verbal proficiency in the English language (C1) is required.
• Willingness to occasional travel.
• Professional experience in the sales field would be an asset.
• Strong customer orientation skills.
• Proactive and persistent attitude.
• Effective at both telephone and email writing skills.
• Ability to evaluate processes and procedures, identify bottlenecks and work to find improvements for operational efficiency.
