The role of Project Manager– Medicinal Chemistry is a great opportunity to have a cross-functionally impact and to be a part of full drug discovery projects. At the position, You will provide scientific expertise and will develop scientific programs for the design and synthesis of the potential drug candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
-Managing a multidisciplinary team to high productivity while cultivating an atmosphere of career growth and positive culture.
-Responsibility for the scientific team, including the synthesis and support design and the decision-making process based on the SAR studies.
-Driving project activities and scientific strategies to meet project goals.
-Leading by strong initiative in the design and methodology in synthetic chemistry, troubleshooting and problem solving for synthetic issues.
-Preparation of the internal reports, presentation for the teleconferences.
-Responsible for contact with existing and potential clients, presentation of the project progress on scientific meetings and conferences.
-Exploring new science projects and /or business initiatives for Company’s consideration.
-Contributing to department / group discussions and initiatives.

Your Background
-MSc or PhD in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry.
-7-10 years of work experience in the medicinal chemistry field.
-Demonstrated operational skills and track record in managing discovery programs successfully at the level of a senior chemist/team leader are required.
-Experience in one or more therapeutic areas is preferred, and ability to integrate multiple R&D disciplines into a successful strategic project plan is required.
-Expert knowledge of modern methods of synthetic and medicinal chemistry is required, principles of biology and biochemistry recommended.
-Strong problem-solving skills for developing creative, innovative solutions, and meeting project objectives are required.
-Self-starter and independent thinking.
-Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
