The Apple Media Products (AMP) Video team is searching for an authority media workflow specialist to help build seamless, integrated workflows, with a strong focus on scalability, performance, reliability, and resilience. Key Qualifications

10+ years of broadcast, streaming, and/or production/post-production experience
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple multi-functional teams to understand requirements and design highly performant workflows
Ability to summarize concepts and ideas into succinct, captivating proposals and documentation
Expert knowledge in developing and implementing global media workflows
Expert knowledge of video and audio signal flows, workflows, protocols, and codecs
Expertise with production concepts such as HDR, spacial audio, etc.
Strong understanding of software, hardware, and cloud based media workflows
General understanding of IP video and audio protocols and codecs such as SMPTE ST-2110, JPEG XS, SRT, NDI, Dante, Zixi, etc.
Deep understanding of HLS encoding and streaming protocols and SCTE-35 and SCTE-104
Working knowledge of networking, centralized storage, multi-OS platforms, etc.

Education & Experience

* BS/BA in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent is preferred
* Equivalent or relevant field experience acceptable

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,000 and $242,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
