Job Description
The Mechanical Engineering faculty member is responsible for promoting
the professional and academic development of undergraduate engineering
students through excellence in teaching, engaging labs, creative
achievement, advising, and a commitment to service.
Required Qualifications
*Master’s degree in mechanical engineering with industry
experience *outstanding soft skills; and *experience advising
students.
Preferred Qualifications
* Doctorate degree in mechanical engineering; and *evidence of
effective teaching, advising, and student engagement.

* attend department, school, and university faculty meetings;

* participate in annual faculty evaluation;

* submit textbook requests;

* comply with the university Faculty/Staff Policy Manual; and

* perform other duties as assigned.
