Job Summary
Performing high-quality data abstraction that is accurate and suitable for statistical analysis. Data should meet the protocol specified parameters and comply with all other applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. Responsible for the accurate entry, transmission, retrieval, and management of study data for the Georgia Cancer Center, Clinical Trials Office. Responsible for seeing that all data is handled in accordance with HIPPA and in compliance with all other applicable regulations, policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Accurately enters study data into case report forms (electronic and paper) according to study requirements for all studies. Ensures all visits are captured and correctly identified in OnCore. Responsible for seeing that data is accurately and timely transmitted to the sponsor.
- Assist with data retrieval, responds to all queries in a timely manner. Makes corrections to data entry in an acceptable manner as directed by the sponsor, investigator or research nurse coordinator.
- Responsible for seeing that all data is handled in accordance to HIPPA and in compliance with all institutional policies and procedures. Assist Administrator Director, CTO leadership in implementing data management polices and procedures. At the request of the investigator, CTO leadership or senior leadership, retrieves data in an acceptable format to present information requested.
- Serves as back up to the lab tech, orders pathology slides and ships to sponsor. Orders CT scans on CD and uploads to sponsor as needed.
- Performs all other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university OR Completion of two years of college level coursework with two years of related work experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality. Detail-oriented; Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.
Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days; Monday - Friday
Pay Grade: 12
Salary Minimum: $15.06 - Midpoint: $19.58
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
