Job Description
Summary
Research technician will be in charge of managing and design of behavioral electrophysiology rig for human participants in electrophysiological recordings.
Job Duties
- Maintains coding database for behavioral tasks and programming and debugging new behavioral tasks.
- Ensures tasks interface with stimulus presentation system and data collection system.
- Participates in development of novel improved data collection and management systems, and take a lead role in the programming aspect of these systems.
- Maintains and updates laboratory hardware.
- Works closely with multiple laboratories, graduate students, and post-docs in the laboratories to improve workflow and data analysis practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- One year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- BA. in Computer Science or related field.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Strong programming experience that includes coding in Matlab or Python.
