The SDSU Enterprise Applications office, within the IT Programming department, is growing! We’re adding a Senior Application/Business Analyst to our team. If you are a skilled communicator and enjoy project management in a tech setting, this could be the position for you! Our office purpose is to help campus streamline their business processes and make them more efficient through technology with heavy emphasis on automation. The team utilizes a variety of development tools in addition to home grown applications.

Job Responsibilities: Providing IT services that will ensure timely project completion to the Enterprise Application office’s satisfaction and meet the needs of our users, the larger University. This includes design, build, test and maintain applications that support business processes; facilitate meetings with clients to understand their business needs and propose solutions for their issues or enhancement for their existing processes.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of:
Project management skills with an understanding of the software development life cycle
Customer service practices and end user needs

Skill & Ability to:
Assist in gathering requirements and project specifications.
Communicate directly with peers, managers, and clients while leading development to a completed and successful solution.
Organize, manage, and work on multiple priorities.
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical field
Higher education academic environment
