Job Description

Summary

The Research Technician II will assist postdocs and students to perform single-cell profiling experiments to characterize tumor heterogeneity. Will also perform related experiments including cell culture, cell sorting, mouse breeding and other standard biological experiments.

Job Duties

  • Assist with regular biological experiments including cell sorting, western blotting
  • Maintain mouse colony
  • Prepare and conducts laboratory research experiments
  • Collect, compile and analyze data
  • Conduct literature searches and summarize information in an appropriate format for a particular study
  • Document results of experiments
  • Select, evaluate and apply techniques used in routine research
  • Order laboratory supplies and equipment

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
  • No experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in sequencing and cancer biology
