Job Description
Summary
The Research Technician II will assist postdocs and students to perform single-cell profiling experiments to characterize tumor heterogeneity. Will also perform related experiments including cell culture, cell sorting, mouse breeding and other standard biological experiments.
Job Duties
- Assist with regular biological experiments including cell sorting, western blotting
- Maintain mouse colony
- Prepare and conducts laboratory research experiments
- Collect, compile and analyze data
- Conduct literature searches and summarize information in an appropriate format for a particular study
- Document results of experiments
- Select, evaluate and apply techniques used in routine research
- Order laboratory supplies and equipment
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in sequencing and cancer biology
