Major/Essential Functions
Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Inpatient GI
Outpatient GI
Supervise, teach, and mentor fellows in the GI fellowship and other learners such as students and residents on the GI service
Conduct and publish peer reviewed clinical research in order to meet ACGME scholarly activity requirements.
Occasional Duties
Lectures and conferences in gastroenterology and internal medicine.
Outpatient/inpatient clinical practice to include the digestive diseases center and inpatient gastroenterology and internal medicine rotations.
Some work within the correctional system may be required.
This position may include some part time employment at the Lubbock VA clinic.
Required Qualifications
MD or DO.

Pay Statement
