Job Description
The Clinical Systems Analyst I
Position Highlights:
The Clinical Systems Analyst I provides support in the selection, installation, configuration, conversion, implementation and ongoing utilization of clinical systems. With appropriate direction and guidance, this position analyzes, programs, tests, implements and maintains clinical information systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provides initial expertise and product knowledge to install, configure, and support application systems.
- Provides expertise in problem determination, evaluations, and solution
- Provides on-call support in accordance with the on-call calendar
- Codes and modifies software modules
- Documents and reviews project specifications
- Updates project tracking system
- Assists in the development of systems documentation
- Assists in the development of comprehensive test plans
- Performs detailed test scenarios to minimize negative impact on clients
Credentials and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or healthcare related field required
- “in lieu of” a Bachelor’s degree an additional 4 years work experience in Healthcare IT may be considered
- Two (2) years’ experience in information systems configuration, conversion, implementation and support is required.
