Country Brand Manager, mRNA Vaccine (m/f/d)

Reporting to the COVID Franchise Therapeutic Area Lead, this role will be a key member of the franchise team, supporting the successful go-to-market commercial launch of the COVID mRNA Vaccine, transitioning the brand strategy as we move to an endemic environment. You will have a unique opportunity to demonstrate cross-functional partnership and strong business acumen, driven by a keen understanding of the local health system. This role will require flexibility, ability to drive change and deal with uncertainty but also the opportunity to deliver creative approaches to solve issues.

This role will help manage the marketing activities for the brand, building on a strong market understanding and customer insights. In this competitive field, this role will be responsible for working cross-functionally to support the planning, preparing and execution of campaigns, coordinate marketing activities and develop materials for use by our customer facing colleagues.  Ultimately, this role will be a key member of the team supporting the roll-out of omnichannel marketing activities aligned with the defined go-to-market strategy including project, product, and budget targets and plenty of creative freedom.

WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO:

  • Co-creating a data-driven and customer insights-focused commercial brand strategy aligned to global brand strategy
  • Executing the right marketing mix by deidentifying effective channels to deliver key brand(s) messages in close collaboration with omni-channel marketing/customer facing teams
  • Monitoring and evaluating brand campaigns through metrics that matter and develop recommendations to optimize performance where appropriate (e.g., increase reach, engagement performance, click rates etc.)
  • Continually evaluate evolving marketing data, trends, and technologies to identify and recommend new channels and capabilities that drive improved ROIs
  • Ensuring Austria country readiness to face a competitive environment
  • Close collaboration with XFT to develop key stakeholder and congress strategies
  • agencies and vendors, delivering tactics aligned to brand strategy.
  • A performance-based culture with a focus on brand performance achieved by monitoring potential risks / deviations from brand strategy and forecast
  • Upholding and adhering to Pfizer company policies and ensuring that all activities are in line with local laws and regulations
     

WHAT YOU OFFER:

  • University degree or equivalent qualification in the field of business administration, science, or economics; MBA is a plus
  • Solid understanding and experience of the Austrian Rx pharma-marketing, healthcare and pharmaceutical environment is a plus
  • First Marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including work with brand plans and successful implementation
  • Experience translating data and insights to strategy and execution – filling the gap between why and how – and ability to clearly articulate business direction and priorities
  • Experience in collaboration with the sales force is beneficial
  • Strong financial, business and forecasting analytic skills 
  • Experience in new ways of working e.g. agile, digital, design thinking and prototyping considered an advantage 
  • Hands-on leader, self-motivated with a positive can-do-attitude
  • Demonstrated growth mindset, accountability, and agility
  • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office and digital literacy/knowledge 
  • Fluency in both written and verbal German and English

The salary depends on education, training and expert knowledge as well as previous experience but will at least amount to EUR 64.500 gross p.a. on a fulltime base.
