JOB SUMMARY:

  • To manage International Labelling Group through general business management, compliance, and communications. To drive business excellence and transparency through analytics, maintaining data and generating models which both influence, and initiate business decisions related to portfolio support, process and resource efficiencies, and key performance indicators.
  • To maximize efficiency and effectiveness of the ILG organisation through optimum management of business operations and budgets associated with an international workforce.
  • Management of vendors across regions to ensure maximum value for ILG at minimal cost, with contracts proactively reviewed and optimised within the evolving vendor and technology landscape to deliver strategic and operational goals.
  • Management and interpretation of compliance data accountability for proactive maintenance of detailed business information, interpretation of data, periodic report generation and management/coordination of resulting actions, proposals, and decisions. (e.g., Purchase Orders, resource algorithms, and unit cost models).
  • Represents ILG needs by driving continuous improvement of vendor oversight and operations – ensuring inspection readiness by assuring access and transparency vendor documentation and via periodic onsite vendor visits, monitoring and reporting on process compliance with internal requirements and external regulations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assures efficient day-to-day operations of critical ILG department functions through delivery of workload forecasting, resource demand algorithms and unit cost modelling. Manages Purchase Orders and Contractor Agreements/Renewals.
  • Provision of operational support to enhance goal clarity, engagement, and organizational efficiency as well as capturing delivery of actions and goals.
  • Vendor Oversight Management: Ensure Governance meetings are arranged with ILG vendors and management of any resulting actions, proposal and decisions. Point of Contact with Procurement, MSP and HR across all locations, on behalf of the applicable LT member coordinating all logistical aspects of required colleague, contractor and vendor on/offboarding obligations and timelines.
  • Support and preparation of business information and materials for meetings (i.e. slide generation, documentation) and DLC/ILG/GRO /GRS/GPD events, as required.
  • Drive business excellence and transparency through data analytics, ensuring data and models both influence, and initiate business decisions related to budget, portfolio, process and resource efficiencies.
  • Maintain and develop digital systems to provide meaningful visualizations of data to enable business excellence across ILG.
  • Monitor vendor performance objectives, developing proposals and corrections when needed and identify opportunities for synergies across and within regions and functions.
  • Uphold and role model Pfizer Values and OWN IT behaviours and act as ambassador
  • Partnership with the ILG Head and Regional Labelling Leads Team to plan and execute business strategy and to manage assigned strategic initiatives, resources, timelines and communication plans relating to the general model.
  • Enables ILG process standardization and excellence by capturing and analyzing portfolio data for improvement, escalating issues and/or executing remedial action

Qualifications/Experience preferred:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience where the individual has demonstrated ability to solve problems, interact with colleagues, leaders and customers across locations and manage a varied and unpredictable workload
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, regulatory industry, healthcare industry

Qualifications/Experience essential:

  • Demonstrated track record in business management roles and/or business qualifications
  • Demonstrated analytical mindset and ability to transform data into information
  • Understanding of Pfizer policies and procedures and their application in the workplace.
  • Experience in global/multi-national environment
  • Experience in ability to function autonomously and in a matrix team environment.
  • Experience in data analytics, generation, and interpretation.
  • Experience in a project / change management
  • Experience in multiple and diverse business support work assignments under pressure
  • Experience working in a challenging customer service environment
