ROLE SUMMARY

This person in this role is accountable for leading omnichannel data enablement and analytics, in support of the growing roadmap of omnichannel capabilities across Emerging Markets including Asia, Latin America, Africa, and Middle East. This is a role within Business Analytics and Insights Emerging Market Global team, that will bring together the needs of omnichannel marketing to understand and engage our customers through measurement, activation, and personalization.
This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and covers a broad range of strategic topics that are critical to our business. The successful candidate will join BAI colleagues worldwide that are constantly supporting business transformation through their proactive thought leadership, innovative analytical capabilities, and their ability to communicate highly complex and dynamic information in new and creative ways.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Role definition and key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Omnichannel Data Enablement
Drive the strategy and execution of data roadmap to enable omnichannel orchestration by integrating diverse internal and external data that support the build of customer journeys.
Oversee data quality management process across 20+ Emerging Markets to ensure timely, accurate and complete customer centric omnichannel data.
Identify, communicate, and resolve data issues for critical analytics and insights, coordinating with backend engineering team and root causing analysis, to improve the quality and consistency of our data.
Build and maintain data dictionary, data profiling and process documentation
Omnichannel Analytics and Reporting
Build analytic plans that heighten visibility of omnichannel opportunities that will increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the omnichannel experience.
Identify critical success factors on Pfizer EM’s Go-to-market transformation journey and appropriate KPIs for measurement and partner with cross-functional teams to generate reports that communicate outcomes and recommendations
Work with EM BAI and data science colleagues to consult on the appropriate methodologies to measure effectiveness of customer engagement activities and ensures standardization and alignment where possible across EM.
Partner with EM BAI Data Science and analytic COE colleagues to inform decisions on how to optimize campaign execution and impact, best leveraging internal next best action AI/ML capabilities and develop short and long-term measurement plans.
Collaborate with regional and local BAI and Data Science teams
Partner with market BAI leads to understand critical needs and opportunities on omnichannel data and analytics and develop
Align across market BAI leads and data science colleagues to ensure cohesive activities with stakeholders.
Partner with other analytic functions to understand and incorporate novel data sources as well as all the available data sources.

Technical Skills
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
Strong conceptual and analytical thinking combined with the ability to effectively understand analytic needs and build effective solutions
Experience with machine learning technology, such as: big data stack, Python, R, and visualization techniques
Experience with the application of statistics and data science techniques such as machine learning to solve business problems.
Experience in understanding brand content, strategy, and tactics
Ability to effectively utilize dashboards and data products to derive insights
Understands quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
Experience in management of secondary data with application of real-world data
Ability to partner with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Medical, Operations) to execute brand tactics
Ability to connect, integrate and synthesize analysis and data into a meaningful ‘so what’ to drive concrete strategic recommendations for brand tactics. Capable of describing relevant caveats in data or in a model and how they relate to business question
Ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands and deal with ambiguity
Experience
• 5+ years experience in business analytics or data science function, country strategy and/or strategic consulting
• Hands-on data engineering with deep expertise in big data ecosystem for data integration, data storage, compute framework and analytics and technical expertise described above
• Analytic roles in healthcare and pharmaceuticals highly preferred, with Investment Banking & Finance desirable.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in quantitative discipline like engineering or data science; also advanced degree preferred in business administration, statistics, or other relevant field
