Position Highlights

The Senior Analyst of IDAM provides technical expertise for and has the lead role in coordinating the organization’s Integrated Disability and Absence Management Program, which brings pieces of disability management together, such as the American’s with Disabilities Act, Workers Compensation, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability and the Family Medical Leave Act, with the objective of providing early intervention to reduce absenteeism, support case management, and support of the formal return-to-work programs. Lead role in overseeing the administration of program designs, implementations, service delivery, program evaluations and expansions.

 

The position provides analytical and technical expertise on the delivery of absence management cases while ensuring integrity of data within the various related IDAM systems. Develops, implements, and simplifies policies and procedures to ensure clear understanding and compliance within all levels of the organization.

 

Responsible for administering disability and leave related programs, policies, and procedures. Possesses thorough knowledge of FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), Worker’s Compensation, Short- and Long-Term Disability and ADAAA (Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act). Responsible for cultivating and maintaining a collaborative relationship with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of the day-to-day activities of Moffitt’s Disability & Absence administration. Responsible for improving workflows and identifying process efficiencies, as well as ensuring compliance with any mandatory aspects of these programs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manages vendor relationships to include RFPs, implementations, troubleshooting and assisting in the resolution of escalated IDAM and team member vendor concerns.

 

  • Creates and undertakes various processes related to the integrated leave and disability management; such as vendor meetings, data analysis, creation and distribution of communications and employee presentations.

 

  • Ensures timely reports for IDAM for internal and external stakeholders including: TPAs, HRIS, Team Member Workforce Management, Team Member Health Services, Internal an external legal counsel for all disability and absence management -related purposes.

 

  • Builds relationships with Benefits and HRIS teams, to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of routine and ad hoc data processes and analytic requests; for both internal and external purposes, such as LOA administration, EEO, ADA, FMLA and WC compliance.

 

  • Collaborates with IDAM management to create and maintain seamless process flows for all IDAM leave and disability programs including ADA, Return to Work and Stay at Work programs.

 

  • Creates, monitors and evaluates IDAM and HR Dashboards to inform IDAM programs and education for the benefit of the absence management process flows and communication.

 

  • Assists the IDAM team in creating interactive platforms for educating Moffitt's leaders on leave and absence management programs.

 

  • Assists in effective cross -training, among IDAM team, to ensure seamless day-to-day disability and absence management regardless of IDAM staffing absences or vacancies.

 

 

Credentials and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Business Administration or another related field required.

 

  • CLMS-Certified Leave Management Specialist (Must achieve within 12 months of accepting role).

 

  • 5+ years experience in Leave/Vendor Management

 

  • Excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)

 

  • Knowledge of multi-state leave laws and broader HR policies and processes

 

  • Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Worker’s Compensation laws

 

  • Excellent customer service and professional writing skills

 

  • Excellent project management skills, including planning and organizational skills.

 

  • Ability to effectively work independently and identify when to engage others.

 

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and the analytical ability to solve problems and issues.

 

  • Ability to organize, set priorities, completes multiple projects within established deadlines and work with a sense of urgency while maintaining a strong attention to detail.

 

  • Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.

 

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

 

  • Proven teamwork capabilities.
