Job Description
The Division of Nanoscale Science and Technology at Argonne National Laboratory is seeking a motivated post-doctoral researcher to join our interdisciplinary team. The Postdoctoral Appointee will contribute to cutting-edge research in AI/ML Accelerated Design and Discovery of Peptide Materials for energy and sustainability applications.
The work involves computational modeling of peptides either in self-assembly or at the interface with materials surfaces (bulk or nanoscale) and the development of predictive AI/ML models for inverse design.
- The candidate is expected to work in close collaboration with experimentalists and experts in peptide self-assembly and lab automation, as we work towards advancing our autonomous discovery platforms.
- Preferred if candidate has experience in AI/ML and computational modeling (e.g., MD Simulations, force field development, etc.).
Position Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, Chemistry, Biophysics, or a related field (About to receive or have received within the last 3 years)
