Full-time tenure or tenure-line faculty at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor in both the undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Specialty areas include medical/surgical, community health, pediatrics, psychiatric mental health, family nurse practitioner, nursing education, and nursing leadership/administration.

Ball State University’s School of Nursing invites applications for four (4) full-time tenure or tenure-line faculty at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor in both the undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Specialty areas include medical/surgical, community health, pediatrics, psychiatric mental health, family nurse practitioner, nursing education, and nursing leadership/administration. Job Function:

Full-time tenure or tenure-line faculty at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor in both the undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Specialty areas include medical/surgical, community health, pediatrics, psychiatric mental health, family nurse practitioner, nursing education, and nursing leadership/administration.

Minimum Experience:

1) Current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in the United States, with Indiana Registered Nurse License obtained by date of appointment;
2) Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution; and
3) Earned doctorate in nursing or a related field from an accredited institution by date of appointment.
5) If an NP, current national board certification.

Preferred Experience:

Demonstrated ability to
1) teach (undergraduate and graduate) didactic and clinical nursing content in area of expertise;
2) develop and/or maintain a program of research;
3) work collaboratively with diverse faculty, students and staff; and
4) promote change to improve the didactic and clinical course curriculum.
