Job Description

Summary

The Senior Research Coordinator is responsible for supporting our growth in clinical research, particularly low-cost technology, to reduce global health disparities, expand healthcare access, and innovate healthcare solutions that improve survival especially in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs). We are looking for creative individuals with the ability and initiative to manage new and existing clinical research utilizing innovative diagnostic technologies in cancer screening.

Job Duties

  • Assist with enrollment: screen, recruit and enroll study participants. 
  • Assist with institutional regulatory affairs: prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) and case report forms; review and update documents for IRB, PRMC, and DRC; ensure quality control and maintain site certifications.
  • Assist with data coordination: collect, enter, monitor, review, and analyze data.
  • Assist with development, implementation and monitoring of research protocols, procedures and processes. 
  • Assist with institutional and federal compliance: schedule, coordinate, and participate in the internal feasibility meeting, pre-site visit and site initiation visits; support investigators and clinical research staff with reporting and study monitoring.
  • Manage day-to-day clinical research operations, at all stages, independently with general guidance. 
  • Prepare literature reviews and research potential grant applications, as needed.
  • Generate organized written content for use in clinical research grant proposals, reports and outreach.
  • Assist with research poster and oral presentations for any upcoming conferences, as needed.
     

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or related field. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
  • Five years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medical or doctoral degree.
  • Five years of experience in oncology research coordination.
  • Experience with MediData.
  • Fluent in Spanish and French.
  • Ability to travel locally and internationally.
