Purpose of Position
As an essential member of the Enterprise Development Team, the developer will engage in application development to bolster NKU’s array of applications.

The role of Application Developer II requires collaboration with a diverse team to design, develop, maintain, and enhance web applications. Their primary focus will be on AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) and ASP.NET. Additionally, there are many opportunities to work on other development landscapes, including SAP ERP systems and Azure Data Lake/Synapse Analytics.
Primary Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, and workflows.
Build, test, and deploy ASP.NET applications.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into responsive web pages.
Ensure the security and efficiency of applications through regular code reviews.
Integrate applications with databases, third-party APIs, and other systems.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in application development with relational databases.
Solid understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
Proficiency in Java, C#, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Familiar with SQL databases and RESTful services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication abilities.
Experience with AEM (6.5) is an advantage.
