Within this role you will:
- Fulfill the role of the strategic CI and IMEx (Intergrated Manufacturing Excellence) specialist within the leadership and process centric ecosystems for the SBO3 (Sterile & Biologics Operations) Cluster Sites CI planning team.
- Lead IMEx planning activities within the SBO3 Cluster Sites planning organization, including key horizontal integration points with BUI and OpU teams.
- Implement and sustain IMEx for the SBO3 Cluster Sites production planning team
- Support the design of strategy/goals, visual management, CI loop, leader standard work, and system adoption for leadership teams
- Drive the continuous improvement element within the Production Planning team, in line with ecosystem standards.
- As needed, lead IMEx deployments and provide post-deployment support for Material Supply teams to ensure ecosystem standards are continuously met.
- Partner with planning teams to integrate the Material Supply Ecosystem and global planning processes by embedding global playbooks within the standard work for planners
- Build strong capability in problem solving by bringing required colleagues or teams together to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our processes.
- Analyze and improve E2E supply chain data and parameters, including demand and supply ‘root cause’ analysis, inventory control, planning metric analysis and financial volume analysis across supply nodes.
- As needed, coach or lead CI projects at various levels of the organization
How You Will Achieve It
Drive and lead Goal Setting and CI process for SBO3 (Sterile & Biologics Operations) Cluster Sites production planning team through collaboration with OpU site and BUI teams
Drive the IMEx (Intergrated Manufacturing Excellence) journey within the SBO3 Cluster Sites production planning team.
Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities across production planning processes within the IMEx framework:
- Ensure improvement efforts are managed at appropriate Tiered level
- Leverage system to collect information on process health and standard work adherence
- As needed, develop and implement data collection processes and systems to identify problems and improvement opportunities
- Ensure continuous improvement projects are integrated across the supply chain teams, OpU and BUI teams
Develop planning team to achieve problem solving excellence. Be a change agent for new ways of thinking and continually find new ways to create value for the business through Operational Excellence principles and tools:
- Provide coaching and facilitation of CI project teams as needed.
- Facilitate & lead breakthrough workshops, progress checks and wrap-up meetings with OE project teams.
- Build relationships across all supply chain teams.
- Drive recognition and Mission award submissions to encourage outstanding work
Drive and promote the use of improvement techniques across the planning team:
- Build strong team capabilities in the use of Method 1,2,3 and 4 principles.
- Train personnel in diagnostic skills and problem solving techniques.
- Coach, or directly lead continuous improvement projects/groups where required in order to achieve maximum efficiency
- Support implementation of a standard work program to reduce variation, improve training and allow for controlled improvement
Provide documentation, reports and analytics as required:
- Capability analysis
- Replication opportunities
Support the implementation of planning metrics analysis and continuous performance improvement
Support the integration of planning dashboards and process adherence and performance metrics through the appropriate tier levels of the IMEx framework
Enable periodic updates of planning dashboards

Qualifications
Must-Have
- Applicant must have a High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience;
- OR an Associate's degree with eight years of experience;
- OR a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5+ years of experience;
- OR a Master’s degree with more than three years of experience;
- OR a Ph.D. with 0+ years of experience.
- Proven experience in supply and inventory planning and operational execution.
- Broad understanding of the logistics and supply chain environment, process development, and ERP/advanced planning systems (e.g., APO, ECC, BobJ, Tableau) and best practices.
- Must have demonstrated consultative, influencing, analytical, strategic thinking/planning, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work in a complex matrix organization with strong team work orientation.
- Ability to work effectively in an environment of competing priorities with concurrent deadlines.
- Solid oral and written communication, and presentation, business analysis, PC, and project management skills.
- Ability to interact, build effective relationships, and influence leaders at all levels of the organization is imperative.
- Excellent targeted messaging skills.

- APICS and/or Six Sigma (Black/Green belt) certification
- Experience across diverse business portfolio (e.g., BioPharmaceuticals, Consumer Products, other industries).

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $106,300.00 to $177,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
