Marymount Hospital’s 4 East/4 West Medical Surgical and Telemetry Unit is looking to add a RN (Registered Nurse) to their multi-disciplinary team of caregivers. 4 East cares for patients with an oncology history and hematology disorders while 4 West focuses on peritoneal dialysis diagnosis and treatment. We average patient ratios for Registered Nurses of 6:1. As a Registered Nurse, you will become familiar with complex medical histories, innovative surgical procedures, pain modalities, and comprehensive nutritional support.
Your primary duties will include:
- Providing direct nursing care.
- Monitoring, recording, and communicating patients’ conditions as appropriate.
- Preparing patient care plans.
- Administering prescribed medications.

Marymount Hospital’s 4 East/4 West Medical-Surgical and Telemetry Unit is looking to add a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to their multi-disciplinary team of caregivers. 4 East is a 13-bed unit that cares for patients with an oncology history and hematology disorders while 4 West is a 15-bed unit that focuses on peritoneal dialysis diagnosis and treatment. As a PRN RN, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, administering medication and treatments, assessing and coordinating patients’ discharge plans and monitoring, recording and communicating patients’ condition.

Responsibilities:
Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Maintains professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.

Work Experience:
External applicants must have two years recent related nursing experience.
Internal applicants with less than two years’ experience but post orientation /90 day probationary period could be considered with Chief Nursing Officer level review and approval.
Successfully pass all prescreen competency assessments required.
Will consider licensed military RN experience.
