"The Kentucky Spinal Cord Injury Research Center at the University of Louisville is pleased to announce a position for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join the Laboratory of Clinical Respiratory-Cardiovascular Neurophysiology under the direction of Alexander Ovechkin, MD, PhD. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be responsible for organizing and conducting day-to-day research activities related to projects involving human spinal cord injury. The Postdoctoral Fellow will play an important role in the National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded grants examining the neural mechanisms of recovery in individuals who have undergone rehabilitative respiratory-cardiovascular and/or spinal cord stimulation rehabilitative interventions. Additionally, the Postdoctoral Fellow will be involved in other projects examining the effects of respiratory-cardiovascular rehabilitative approaches alone and in combination with neuromodulatory interventions, such as invasive/non-invasive spinal cord stimulation and pharmacological agents to increase the excitability of nervous system.

- Manuscript reviewing,
- Presentations at meetings,
- Attendance and presentation at seminars,
- Organization and attendance at training related activities,
- Limited training in teaching related activities
