Summary
CAEN has an opening for a knowledgeable and collegial desktop support person. Join our team of dedicated IT professionals providing uncommon IT support to research areas, academic departments, and administrative units within the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan.

In this role, you will work closely with faculty, staff and students in research units associated with the College of Engineering. You will also share expertise, resources, and support responsibilities with a team of IT staff to creatively help meet the College's mission. Effective communication skills are critical to this role as you will act as a liaison between researchers and university IT service providers.

We are looking for someone who loves helping customers in an academic research setting, and who has good technical skills and experience administering Linux, Macintosh and Window computers. We want a self-starter who is interested in solving complex IT challenges by aligning resources and services with the researchers and users that need them.
