The Department of Biology at Ball State University invites applications for a Non-Tenure-Track Assistant Teaching Professor position in Biology. The successful candidate will teach Genetics at the undergraduate and graduate level, and a specialty course within the Genetics Concentration. Other teaching assignments may include Advanced Genetics or Introductory Biology courses.

Minimum Experience:
Earned doctorate in Genetics, Biology, or related field from an accredited college or university by date of appointment; Commitment to excellence in teaching as demonstrated by a teaching statement and/or teaching evaluations; Competency in current genetics research concepts and approaches.
Preferred Experience:
Demonstrated teaching ability in Genetics using student-centered learning techniques; Evidence of teaching ability, as demonstrated by student or peer evaluation summaries. Evidence of scholarly activity, as demonstrated by publications.
