ROLE SUMMARY

The Medical HCP Portal Performance Lead plays a critical role in ensuring a single and consistent Pfizer Medical Affairs Organization by managing the technical aspects of websites developed by Pfizer's Medical Affairs teams across business units to digitally engage with healthcare providers (HCPs) and multidisciplinary teams. By maintaining the functionality, performance, and optimization of these websites, the Lead helps create a unified digital presence that aligns with Pfizer's values and objectives.

In addition, the Lead recognizes the importance of unique factors involved with digital engagement for HCPs across all priority markets. By developing and managing high-performing websites, they enable HCPs to access valuable medical information, resources, and tools digitally. This supports Pfizer's commitment to providing HCPs with a seamless digital experience, empowering them to make informed decisions and enhance patient care.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technical Management: Manage the technical aspects of Pfizer's HCP websites developed by Medical Affairs, ensuring their functionality, performance, and optimization.
  • Website Development and Updates: Oversee website development, updates, and optimization to enhance the user experience and meet company standards. This includes partnering with internal partners to ensure compliance and adherence to Pfizer policies, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Sandbox Testing: Conduct sandbox testing to ensure the functionality and performance of the websites, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise. Collaborate with internal partners to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  •  Dashboard Management: Develop and manage dashboards to monitor and report on website performance and usage, providing valuable insights for decision-making. Collaborate with internal partners to ensure alignment with Pfizer's reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Collaboration with Departments: Collaborate with various departments, including Legal, Compliance, and Medical Affairs, to understand their needs and incorporate them into the website. Partner with internal partners to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and medical guidelines.
  • Vendor and Developer Management: Manage relationships with vendors and developers involved in website development and maintenance. This includes overseeing their work, ensuring adherence to project timelines, and managing budgets effectively.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the website's performance, ensuring a seamless user experience. Collaborate with internal partners and vendors/developers to address technical issues promptly and effectively.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the website is compliant with all relevant regulations, guidelines, and Pfizer policies. Partner with internal partners to conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain compliance.
  • Harmonizing Pfizer Medical Affairs Presence: Ensure harmonization of Pfizer Medical Affairs presence for external HCPs across all Pfizer Business Units (BUs). This involves collaborating with various BUs to align the website's content, design, and messaging to provide a consistent and cohesive experience for external HCPs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or related field;
  • 7+ years of experience in managing digital platforms, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences.
  • Proven track record in overseeing websites delivering scientific content or portals targeting Healthcare Professionals.
  • Proven experience in website development and management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in partnering with internal partners and managing vendors and developers.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of website performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with sandbox testing and performance monitoring tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues that may arise.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, data privacy, and industry standards related to digital content dissemination

    • Understand the applications of technology to the Life Science sector.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced degree (MBA or similar) in Marketing, Digital Communications, or Life Sciences.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in digital content management.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital analytics tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry trends and evolving digital delivery methods for scientific information to HCPs.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $149,200.00 to $248,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
