Job Description

Summary

Dr. O'Malley/Lonard Lab is looking for an assistant coordinator to help with general clerical work and helping with equipment and IT needs for lab studies and teaching. The lab studies focused on delineating the molecular mechanisms that link proteasome-mediated protein degradation to nuclear receptor mediated gene expression and co-activator function as well as other cancer projects.

Job Duties

  • Maintains the supply and equipment inventory for the laboratory.
  • Performs clerical duties to assist faculty and staff.
  • Assists with audiovisual equipment during laboratory sessions.
  • Sets up equipment and laboratory supplies prior to each laboratory session, 
  • Prepares minimal clerical duties to assist in grant preparation. 
  • Tracks and gathers data needed for senior members of the lab to conduct their experiments.
  • Prepares teaching materials and class related tasks that includes but not limited to equipment set up and helping in the lab with equipment and inventory tracking.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • No experience required.
