Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with your physical space. It will allow us to do the things we love in ways never before possible — all while staying connected to the people around us.

The Vision Product Group is looking for an Accessibility QA Engineer to help us explore, define, and build accessibility solutions for the next generation of interactive computing for our platform. As a member of this team, you will have a unique opportunity to work with some of Apple's most advanced technologies (AR, VR, ML, CV) to help build empowering solutions for everyone.
Key Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in a Software QA Engineer role, or comparable experience
  • Experience with Apple’s Accessibility features
  • Experience developing test plans, test cases, assessing risk, and filing appropriate defects
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies & practices
  • Ability to triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose a resolution
  • Experience testing mobile applications
  • Software scripting skills (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Perl)
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative working environment within your team and beyond
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Description

You must be comfortable with rapidly evolving designs and requirements, and have excellent interpersonal skills. This will require deep integration with our development engineers, creating test plans, bug reporting and triaging, identifying automation opportunities, and supporting design reviews. You'll help us identify holes in coverage, actively sync with multi-functional teams to reduce duplication, foster better testing, and resist regressions. A passion about accessibility and critical attention towards documentation is key. We are building a creative and diverse team that will span a broad range of applications, tools, and frameworks. We need your help to reach Apple's high standards of quality.
Education & Experience
B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
Additional Requirements
  • Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced and informal environment with the necessary support Ability to respond and react to changing priorities quickly and efficiently with expectations communicated well on both sides Good understanding of software development and the QA life cycle Familiar with 3D computer graphics concepts a plus Experience with computer graphic developer kits (e.g. Unreal, Unity, CryEngine) a plus
