What You Will Achieve

As our Director of Technical Business Product Management, you'll be at the vanguard of blending technology and strategy to elevate our BioPharma business's intelligence capabilities. You'll be key to building solutions that not only meet current needs but set new industry standards for innovation and efficiency.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Oversee project roadmap and execution to ensure high-quality delivery aligned with intended outcomes.
  • Forge strong partnerships with leaders in product, design, engineering, and data science to steer priorities and harmonize on complex, scalable predictive systems.
  • Decode the diverse needs of users, offering metrics that facilitate swift, informed decisions through simulations and real-world data.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or data science; a Master's or Ph.D. in a related field is highly desirable.
  • 10 years in ML Engineering/Data Science with a focus on AI/ML technology and data products.
  • 5 years in developing and deploying software, or platform infrastructure solutions for large enterprises.
  • Proficiency in managing products with micro-services architectures and leading ML/cloud platforms.
  • Deep understanding of the data ecosystem from ingestion to consumption including system design and API integration.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex needs into technical specifications.
  • Ability to reduce complexity to simplicity.
  • Manage and develop a cross-functional team in product area.
  • Define and iterate our process to continuously improve quality and speed as Product lifecycle scales.
  • Build successful collaborations with other functions
  • Understand team topology, and recalibrate to fill gaps.
  • Provide clear feedback and coaching to Product team.
  • Ensure teams are set up to succeed.
  • Help recruiting by referring and interviewing candidates.
  • Onboard new PMs to understand our philosophy, process and values.
  • Understand and execute on product direction.
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

Nice-to-Have

  • Hands-on experience in prototyping and working with UX design.
  • Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, Generative AI, and ad technology frameworks and systems.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $149,200.00 to $248,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
