L&D Strategy Lead, Oncology
Job Description
The L&D Strategy Lead will advise, advance, and deliver learning and development experiences, solutions, and best practices for Oncology. This role will ensure content, creation, and delivery of learning solutions meet the needs of the business.
The role will report directly to the Vice President, L&D Strategy, Content and Activation.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountable for leading strategic decision making from an L&D strategy perspective supporting one or more business Units/Functions across all geographies), or requires a very high level of business knowledge and understanding of the essential L&D drivers for a specific BU.
Co-lead the creation of growth, development, and leadership solutions with the PX and Organizational Development team
Collaborate and co-create solutions to provide the best end-user learning and development experiences
Advance enterprise learning solutions and bring best practices to divisional programs
Ensure divisional programs are only created when enterprise programs don’t meet business needs
Create, develop, and measure end-user learning and development experiences relative to the respective L&D division, it’s programs and interventions
Lead, deliver and facilitate learning solutions

Proven expertise in delivering business value gained from experience working as a coach, using methodologies like design thinking and lean
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to speak in public and present in front of stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and to deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences.
Comfortable with ambiguity and facilitating discussions to explore the best possible solutions
Recognized internally and may be viewed externally as technical and functional expert in delivery of learning solutions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in an applicable discipline, Preferred: Master’s degree (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of relevant experience as a L&D expert and/or leading global organizations in transforming to adopt new ways of thinking and working
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
