What You Will Achieve

Your organizational skills will help us integrate our continuous improvement programs across the organization, both vertically and horizontally. Thanks to your knowledge and skills, it will be ensured that the improvement programs yield results and strengthen the overall business strategies.

You will work as a coach and a facilitator for improvement projects and establish and maintain performance metrics to measure program success. As a Continuous Improvement Associate, you will support the program by taking care of project governance, project reviews, communications, trainings, certifications and rewards. Through your domain knowledge and commitment, you will create a collaborative team environment for your colleagues.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Contribute to the completion of project tasks and milestones.
  • Work with process teams to identify and execute improvement projects.
  • Work closely with Lean Program Lead and project coaches on areas ranging from project design to project closure and sustainability.
  • Bring together cross-disciplinary teams when working on complex problems or pursuing business opportunities.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Applicant must have a High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience OR an associates degree with 4 years of experience OR a bachelors degree with 0+years of experience.
  • Demonstrated Lean six sigma application experience
  • Experience and working knowledge of Process Monitoring systems
  • In-depth knowledge of program and project management in support of Lean, Enterprise Excellence, Six Sigma, quality improvement, and similar initiatives
  • Good understanding of Environment, Health & Safety
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven track implementation of CI projects.

Nice-to-Have

  • Leadership experience in functional area
  • Knowledge of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), and manufacturing procedures and standards
  • Lean Six Sigma Certifications

  


 

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Able-bodied, must be able to climb flights of stairs and standing for ~1-2 hours at a time.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Schedule is first shift, Monday - Friday. Occasional off-shift and weekend requirements.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $64,600.00 to $107,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
