Full-time, Muncie campus-based contract faculty member with appropriate nursing specialization to teach in undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Work assignments and locations vary. Title and salary dependent on qualification. This is not an online position.
The School of Nursing welcomes applications for an Assistant Clinical Lecturer or Assistant Clinical Professor. This opportunity is for an in-person, on-site, on-campus, Muncie-based faculty position that requires BOTH a master’s degree in nursing and an active Indiana Registered Nurses license, without exception. This is not an online teaching opportunity.
Job Function:

Minimum Experience:
1. Earned baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
2. Earned master’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university by date of appointment
3. Current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in the United States, with Indiana Registered Nurse License obtained by date of appointment.

Preferred Experience:
1. Teaching experience in higher education
2. Clinical nursing experience in related area of teaching
3. Ability to communicate effectively
4. Ability to use and integrate technology in nursing education
5. If NP, current clinical practice as an NP and national board certification
6. Doctoral degree in nursing or related field from an accredited college or university
