We are looking for a highly motivated and well-organized postdoctoral fellow for multimodal imaging and image guided radiation research projects (e.g. total marrow irradiation (TMI), image guided targeted therapy) within the Depart of Radiation Oncology (Susanta Hui laboratory), Beckman Research Institute, City of Hope. This is a part of the NIH (National Institute of Health) funded research for developing a total marrow irradiation program. For more information about Dr. Hui’s lab, please visit here.
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Participate in investigating pre-clinical imaging (fluorescent optical imaging, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT imaging) and radiation research through various multi-disciplinary and translational approaches.
- Participate in investigating clinical imaging (PET/CT and MRI imaging) and total marrow irradiation (TMI) research. With strong support from the department chair, one of the main goals is to foster translational and correlative studies to bridge basic science and clinical trials.
Your qualifications should include:
- PhD in physics or engineering, preferably medical imaging.
- Experience with multi-modal imaging such as Optical, PET, MRI (preclinical and clinical)
- Experience with instrumentation, image reconstruction, and image analysis.
- Experience with radiation research.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $34.00 - $37.55 / hour
